What is the difference between supermarket honey and your Yemeni Sidr Honey?
Yemeni Sidr Honey is a rare, single-orgin, monofloral raw honey, rich in nutrients, flavour and antibacterial and healing properties. In contrast, most supermarket honey is blended, heavily processed and pasteurised, stripping it of all it's health benefits.
Why is Yemeni Sidr Honey so rare?
Yemeni Sidr honey comes from the nectar of Sidr trees that only bloom once a year in remote Yemeni valleys. Harvesting is small-batch and labour intensive using traditional methods and its limited natural supply makes it one of the most prized and exclusive honeys in the world.
Does your honey expire?
Raw honey does not truly expire when stored properly. Its low moisture content, acidity and natural enzymes help preserve it indefinitely - so much so that archaeologists have found edible honey over 3,000 years old in ancient tombs. However, our packaging includes an expiry date as per UK legislation.
Will your honey crystalise?
Yes - all raw, unheated honey can naturally crystalize over time. This is a sign of purity and quality, not spoilage. Gently warming the jar in warm water not boiling will return it to its smooth, liquid state without affecting its flavour or nutrients.
When will I receive my order?
Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days and UK orders are shipped via Royal Mail Tracked 48. International orders take up to 7 working days from the date your order is shipped and are sent via Royal Mail International Tracked. You will receive a tracking number via email when your order is shipped.
Where is my order being shipped from?
All orders are carefully packed and shipped from the UK to ensure your products arrive fresh and in perfect condition.
Can I track my order?
Yes - all orders are shipped with Royal Mail Tracked service and a tracking number is sent to you via email upon shipping.
What is your returns policy?
We pride ourselves in keeping our customers satisfied with their order. Hence, if your product arrives damaged or you are unhappy, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order and we can provide a replacement or refund.
